The Boulevard recently hosted over 90 children from Al Hussein Society Jordan Center for Training and Inclusion (AHS) to this year’s Christmas at The Boulevard. Children enjoyed various activities, some of which include experiencing a third dimension with the virtual reality booth, and making wishes at the fountain; thereafter, The Boulevard treated the children to lunch. To provide utmost levels of safety and comfort, The Boulevard catered to the children’s physical disabilities by ensuring wheelchair accessibility. This created the ideal environment for the children to be fully immersed in all activities.
Hosting AHS children during this festive season comes as part of The Boulevard’s corporate social responsibility, which entails ongoing support of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). AHS had previously collaborated with The Boulevard, under the patronage of its President HRH Princess Majda Raad, creating “The Garden & Flower Show” in 2016 whereby this year, The Boulevard will host them for the second consecutive time. Mr. Omar Agha, Group CEO of The Abdali Boulevard Company, has expressed optimism towards this continued collaboration following the successful relationship developed at “The Garden & Flower Show" of Spring at The Boulevard 2016. He further added, “Continuously seeking to partake in noble initiatives within our society, The Boulevard carries out these activities to cater to different segments of the society, particularly accommodating those with physical disabilities. We are proud to support AHS and continuously seek to promote other initiatives in our beloved community.”
It is worth noting that Christmas at The Boulevard is only one of the anticipated winter events and activities at ‘The Walk of the Town’. Numerous joyous activities will take place in the upcoming period, allowing family members, locals and tourists to enjoy a unique and memorable experience at The Boulevard.
